Facets.
Berlin, Germany, 2019.
This the façade of the newly-built Axel-Springer-House. Axel Cäsar Springer (2 May 1912 – 22 September 1985) was a German journalist and the founder and owner of the Axel Springer SE publishing company. I wonder what kind of connotations the distorted reflection in the façade insinuates.
Planes of Existence #3.
Berlin, Germany, 2019.
This photo was taken from a tour boat on the River Spree. The building is used by the German parliament. Though the transparent architecture with lots of glass shall represent the transparency of German politics, to me it seems that what’s inside is cloaked by walls and reflections.
Tempodrom #5
Berlin, Germany, 2019.
The Tempodrom (also referred to as Neues Tempodrom) is a multi-purpose event venue in Berlin. Photographing its iconic roof is a must for every photographer who comes to Berlin.
To Infinity
Oberhausen, Germany, 2019.
Taken from a bridge over the Rhein-Herne-Channel at sunset. Being in the right place at the right time is crucial for every photographer.
Sticks in the Mudflat
Rantum, Germany, 2019.
This is actually a long exposure. However, shortly after the exposure began, the tide receded, revealing the muddy mudflat in the foreground. However, the seawater can still be seen in the background.
Distant Rain
Hörnum, Germany, 2017.
This photo has already won the 3rd place in the Black & White Spider Awards 2018.
