The Urban Refractions series keeps evolving with this new set of photographs from Frankfurt, Germany. Over the years, I have photographed for this project in small and large places like Bochum, Kleve, London, Dortmund, Brussels, New York City, Berlin, Vancouver and Calgary. It’s all about seeing the world in the distorted reflections and semi-transparencies of windows and other reflective surfaces. Or, if you like to look at it this way, it’s about looking into an altogether different world. Choose your poison.
