Seen in Dresden. The inscription says:

To grace and honor  fatherland.

After World War II the city lay in ruins and thousands had died. But in the decades afterwards apparently not a single soul had the idea to erase this nationalist bullshit, even though nationalism (some call it patriotism but this is only a different flavor of nationalism) had contributed to the city’s destruction. Get it into your heads, folks: Nationalism kills! Let us all be part of one big human family and nothing else, shall we?
