Following the previous post featuring the first ten images of the Trianel power station, this second series explores how the scene transformed as night descended.
It grew darker and darker during my visit to the Trianel coal-fired power plant in Lünen, Germany—so dark that even without an ND filter, each photo turned into a 30-second long exposure. The plant itself was strikingly illuminated, and a natural, thin mist blended with the constant plumes of steam rising from the chimneys. Together, they created a unique, almost surreal atmosphere that I found endlessly fascinating and inspiring to capture.
