Apart from all the theme-inspired photographs from Iceland I’ve posted so far, I have, of course, also taken lots of photos whose sole purpose was the futile attempt to capture the breathtakingly epic magnificence of Iceland’s landscapes. Obviously, it’s hardly possible to accomplish this mission successfully. While those grand Icelandic vistas may (or may not) impress viewers online, they fall short of conveying what I experienced out there in the field. And yet, I felt compelled to try—and to fail—again and again and again.
